JOHN L. STADLER

JOHN L. AND KUNEGUNDER BERNECKER STADLER

 

John L. Stadler was born 6 August 1865 in Germany. His parents were John George and Margarett Enser Stadler. He immigrated to the United States in 1871 with his family. He married Kunegunder “Nina” Bernecker on 25 April 1900 in Richland Township, Saginaw County, Michigan by Pastor Mueller. Kunegunder was born in Germany in July 1877; her parents were Urban and Eva B. Negelmeyer Bernecker.

 

John L. Stadler was appointed to the following Lakefield Offices:

  1. Overseer of Highways Road District #7 on 6 April 1896.

  2. Overseer of Highways Road District #7 on 5 April 1897.

  3. Overseer of Highways Road District #7 on 4 April 1898.

  4. Overseer of Highways Road District #9 on 3 April 1899.

 

John's brother George J. Stadler lived in Section 35 of Lakefield Township.

 

John and Nina had the following children:

  1. Clara J. Stadler was born 17 April 1901 in Lakefield Township.

  2. Alma M. Stadler was born 17 October 1902 in Richville, Michigan.

  3. Otto G. Stadler was born 2 May 1904 in Tuscola County, Michigan.

  4. Philip G.R. Was born 23 March 1906 in Tuscola County, Michigan.

By 1910 John and his family are living in Tuscola, Tuscola County, Michigan.

 

Nina died in 1921 and John died on 30 November 1943 in Tuscola County, Michigan.
