Howard Jackson

HOWARD T. AND MARY E. WEBSTER JACKSON

 

Howard T. Jackson was born on 31 October 1871; his parents were William and Ida E. Hood Jackson. He married Mary E. Webster on 29 November 1893 in Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan by Clergyman L.B. Bessell. Mary was born 3 September 1873; her parents were Porter and Martha DeWitt Webster.

 

Howard and Mary had the following children (1900 census shows that they had 4 children and 3 were alive):

  1. Ira Jackson was born June 1894

  2. Benedict “Bernie” Jackson was born September 1895

  3. unknown

  4. Ida M. Jackson was born March 1898

  5. Elizabeth “Libbie” Almyra Jackson was born 2 February 1904.

 

 

In 1900, the Jackson's were living in Ash, Monroe County, Michigan. By 1910, they were living in Lakefield Township in Section 2 on a 40 acre farm located on Merrill Road between Ederer and Swan Creek Roads. In 1916, their neighbors were Martin Price, Nettie Seymour, Siplian Method, Neil Langlois, Jesse Baker, and F.L. Hawley.

 

 

By 1920, the Jackson's are living back in Ash, Monroe County, Michigan.
