Arthur Byrne

ARTHUR EDWARD AND ETHEL F. MAE TESTER BYRNE

 

Arthur Edward Byrne was born on February 2, 1875 in Port Huron, Michigan. His parents were John and Margaret Tyrell Byrne. He married Ethel F. Mae Tester on November 22, 1910 in Merrill, Jonesfield Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. Ethel was born on November 10, 1892 in Lakefield Township. Her parents were John “George” and Charlott “Sue” Loop Tester.

 

Arthur worked for Ishmael Davis as a thrasher in Lakefield Township. In 1920, Arthur and Ethel were renting their home in Lakefield Township.

 

Ethel died on July 6, 1921 and Arthur died on February 7, 1934 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.

They are both buried in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Lakefield Township.
