Bert Herbage

 

BERT AND KATHERINE LANER HERBAGE

 

 

Bert Herbage was born on February 3, 1881. He married Katherine Laner on January 6, 1909 in Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.

 

After Bert's parents died, John F. and Minerva Herbage, he inherited their 40 acres of land which was located in Section 26 on the south side of Nelson Road between Merrill and Chapin Roads.

 

In 1916 Bert and Katherine's neighbors were: C.A. Betz, Ed Arman, Joseph Rittenhour, William T. Johnston, Joseph Shebester, Charles Tester, Arthur McConnell, Calvin Harris, A.G. Mayer, William Elson.

 

Bert passed away at his home  in Lakefield Township on February 24, 1922 of pneumonia.
