Albert Galloway

ALBERT GALLOWAY

 

Albert Galloway was born on November 3, 1859 in Canada. His parents were Ira “John” and Martha Steel/Sicklesteel.

 

Albert owned a 35 acre farm on Meridian Roads between Lakefield and Nelson Roads. His farm was to the north of his father John's farm on Meridian Road.

 

Albert was elected or appointment to the following Lakefield Township offices.

 

  1. April 7, 1890 as Justice of the Peace.

  2. April 2, 1894 as Inspector of Elections.

  3. April 6, 1896 as Justice of the Peace.

  4. 1900 Lakefield Township Census Enumerator (Census Taker for U.S. Federal Census)

 

Albert died on August 24, 1902 of Consumption. He is buried in the Lakefield Township Cemetery.
