ALEX AND ADELIA “DELIA” METHOD VONDETTE III

Alex Vondette III was born on March 26, 1877 in Lakefield Township to Alex and Nellie White Vondette. He married Delia M. Method on January 1, 1897 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Merrill, Saginaw County, Michigan. Delia was born April 24, 1878 to Siphean/Cypean Method. The Method's lived just to the north of the Vondette family on the SW corner of Merrill and Ederer Roads.

Alex and Delia had the following children:

1. Helen “Nellie” Vondette was born April 4, 1898 in Lakefield Township and died January 1, 1900 of meningitis at the age of one year nine months old.

2. Wilma Melia Vondette was born in September 11, 1899 in Lakefield Township

3. Vergola A. Vondette was born February 12, 1901 in Lakefield Township. She died at 7 months old in 1901 of Infantum Cholera.

Delia died on October 19, 1902 of Consumption at the age of 24 years and is buried in the Lakefield Township Cemetery in Lakefield Township.

Alex III married Kathleen Coburn on August 29, 1903. He moved his family to Humbolt, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1906. Six years later, Alex and his family moved to McCone County, Montana to homestead in the Redwater District. Kathleen Coburn Vondette died on April 7, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan.

Alex III later married Margaret Badgero Crane on July 17, 1950 in Circle, McCone County, Montana. Margaret was the daughter of David and Maria Styles Badgero of Lakefield Township.

Alex III died on July 4, 1955 in McCone County, Montana and is buried in Montana. Margaret Badgero Crane Vondette died on April 6, 1969 and is buried in Flint Memorial Park, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan.
