Frederick Buchele

FREDERICK FRANK BUCHELE

 

Frederick Frank Buchele was born on 11 August 1893 in Lafayette, Gratiot County, Michigan. His parents were Horace Chancey and Estella “Stella” Hoagland Buchele.

 

Fred married Mabel Howard on 7 December 1914 at the Congregational Church by W.D.J. Stevenson in Merrill, Saginaw County, Michigan. Mabel was born on 24 December 1898 in Gratiot County, Michigan; her parents were Clyde and Anna Zimmerman Howard. Mabel and their daughter died on 10 December 1915 in Lakefield Township due to complications during childbirth.

 

Fred also married Ursula T. Tribfelner on 2 May 1917 in Hemlock, Saginaw County, Michigan. Ursula was born on 6 April 1897 in Lakefield Township. Her parents were John and Maggie Gazette Tribfelner.

 

Fred and Ursula had the following children:

  1. Lowell Horace Buchele was born 5 June 1918 in Lakefield Township.

  2. Rolland Fred Buchele was born in 1920/1921. Rolland was wounded in action during WWII, he was a Cpl. In the USMC.

  3. Ruthenia Fay Buchele was born 1 December 1923 in Lakefield Township.

 

When Fred and Ursula were married in 1917, they were living in Lakefield Township but by 1930, they were living in Oceanside, San Diego, California.

 

Fred died on 13 May 1956 and Ursula died on 22 December 1972. They both died in California.
