Mary Bublitz

MARY E. MESCHKE BUBLITZ

 

Mary was born on February 28, 1862 in Poland; her mother was Albertina Struckhert/Streickert.   She came to the United States in 1880. Mary was married to Frank Bublitz and they lived in Merritt Township, Bay County, Michigan.

 

Mary had the following children:

  1. Frank Bublitz

  2. Annie L. Bublitz

  3. Carl Bublitz who was married to Jenny Lauer on November 25, 1915 in Lakefield Township.

  4. Bertha A. Bublitz

  5. Edith T. Bublitz

  6. Matilda H. “Tillie” Bublitz

  7. Arthur Bublitz

  8. Helen M. Bublitz

  9. Adaline A. Bublitz

 

In 1916, Mary and her family owned and operated a 75.81 acre farm in Section 16 on the NW corner of Meridian and Roosevelt Roads in Lakefield Township. Their neighbors were Jacob Lauer, William Sandhoff, Gustav Klugas, Richard Welke, Fred Gotts, George Trudgen and Mrs. J.G. Clark.

 

In 1930, Mary is living with her son, Arthur Bublitz.

 

Mary died on June 10, 1933 Fremont Township, Saginaw County, Michigan and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.
