Edward Foor

EDWARD JAMES AND MINNIE TRUMBLE/TRUMBULL FOOR

 

Edward Foor was born on January 10, 1866 in Metamora, Fulton County, Ohio. His parents were Brazela and Mary Jane Barber Foor. Edward married Minnie Trumble/Trumbull on February 2, 1891 at East Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan by F. Goldsmith. Mary Ann was born July 29, 1876 in New York. Her parents were George and Annie Cook Trumbull/Trumble.

Edward and Minnie had the following children:

  1. Mable Foor was born April 4, 1892 in Saginaw County, Michigan. She married John Dillon on December 9, 1912. Mable died on September 14, 1969. She is buried in the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Oakland County, Michigan.

  2. Frona Foor was born November 3, 1894 in Saginaw County, Michigan. She married John J. Pringle on December 1, 1911. Frona died on March 9, 1991 and is buried in Lakefield Township Cemetery.

  3. Maud H. Foor was born February 2, 1896 in Lakefield Township. She married Fred Hudson. Maud died on July 24, 1972 and is buried in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, Gratiot County, Michigan.

  4. Morten “Mortey” Foor was born 1898 in Michigan.

  5. Florence “Flossie” Marie Foor was born on April 18, 1901 in Lakefield Township. She married William Waldvogel. Flossie died on May 21, 1983 and is buried in Fremont Township Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.

  6. Bessie “Mae” Foor was born on May 12, 1902 in Lakefield Township. She married Joseph Juras on March 10, 1917 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mae died on July 20, 1990 and is buried in Mt. Olivet, Saginaw, Michigan.

  7. William Foor was born March 17, 1904. He married Florence H. DuPraw on September 14, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. William died on July 26, 1994. William is buried in the Surrey Township Cemetery, Farwell, Clare County, Michigan.

  8. Ethel Foor was born March 12, 1908. She married James Stoker. Ethel died on October 30, 1988. Ethel is buried in the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Oakland County, Michigan.

  9. Cecil “Loretta” Foor was born on March 29, 1912 in Lakefield Township. She married Peter Milkovich or Peter Miller. Loretta died in 2003 and is buried in the Fremont Township Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.

  10. Viola Deta Foor was born September 11, 1913 in Lakefield Township. She married Orville Pease. Viola died on May 25, 2003. She is buried in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Midland, Midland County, Michigan.

  11. Roy Roosevelt Foor was born on January 11, 1919 and died November 24, 1920 of Bronco Pneumonia. He was one year 10 months and 13 days old when he died. Roy is buried in the Fremont Township Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.

  12. Marie A. Foor was born on September 30, 1920 in Saginaw County, Michigan. She married Edward Doane on June 30, 1938 in Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan. Marie died on March 17, 2009 in Gladwin, Gladwin County, Michigan. Marie is buried in Arbutus Cemetery, Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan.

     

Edward and Minnie owned and operated a farm in Lakefield Township from the middle of 1890's to the late 1910's. Their neighbors were Brazela and Mary Jane Foor.

 

Edward died on September 26, 1949 and Minnie on December 23, 1963. They are both buried in the Fremont Township Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.
