Martin Novak

                                  MARTIN AND MARY TOMASEK NOVAK

Daughter - Mary Ann Novak Sklapsky

 

 

Martin Novak was born November 11, 1822 in Bohemia; to George and Mary Marash Novak. Martin married Mary Thomashack (Tomasek) in Bohemia. Mary Tomasek was born on December 4, 1825 in Bohemia. Martin and Mary came to the United States in 1865.

Martin and Mary Novak's children were:

  1. Anna Novak born in 1853 in Bohemia

  2. Mary Ann Novak was born April 13, 1856 in Bohemia. She married Joseph Sklapsky.

  3. Barbara Novak was born in May 1858 in Bohemia.

  4. John Joseph Novak was born May 22, 1861 in Prague, Bohemia.

  5. Michael Novak was born February 22, 1864 in Bohemia and died November 6, 1938.

  6. Albeny Novak was born in 1866 in Saginaw, Michigan.

  7. Frankie Novak was born in 1870 in Saginaw, Michigan and died in 1871.

Martin and Mary owned and operated an 80 acre farm in Section 28 on the SW corner of Nelson and Fenmore Roads in Lakefield Township by the 1890's.

 

 

Martin died on November 22, 1901 and Mary died on May 18, 1927. They are both buried in the Lakefield Township Cemetery.
