GEORGE C. AND SIVILEY/SIVILLA ROBERTS

 

George C. Roberts was born on 21 August 1844 in Illinois. His parents were Albert and Eunice Chestman Roberts. He married Siviley/Sivilla Roberts in 1868.

 

George and Siviley had the following children:

  1. Hattie Roberts was born in January 1870 in Michigan.

  2. Nettie Roberts was born in October 1877 in Michigan.

 

In 1870, George Siviley, and Hattie were living in Ward 6, Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan and he was a carpenter. By 1880, George and his family were living in Lakefield Township.

 

George Roberts was elected or appointed to the following Lakefield Township offices:

  1. Elected Superintendent of Schools on 7 April 1879

  2. Appointed as Overseer of Highways in District #2 on 7 April 1879

  3. Elected as Lakefield Constable on 7 April 1879

  4. Elected as Lakefield Constable on 5 April 1880.

 

By 1900, George and his family were living in the Precinct #23, Ward 12, Cook County, Chicago, Illinois and he was a carpenter

 

George died on 15 March 1910 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. At the time of his death he was a carpenter.
